Notary Public Services
Due to the level 5 Covid-19 restrictions and subsequent lockdown, in an effort to reduce physical face-to-face meetings and to ensure the safety of our staff and clients, we will not be in a position to provide Notary Public services from the 1st -31st January 2021. We will review the position at the end of January 2021.
We regret any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation.
A Notary Public is a public officer constituted by law to serve the public in non-contentious matters usually concerned with foreign or international business. In October 2010, Myles Staunton was appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court as a Notary Public for Life for the counties of Mayo and Galway.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation our procedure for notarising documents has changed temporarily. Our current procedure is as follows:
“Myles Staunton & Co. Solicitors, Castlebar Street, Westport, Co. Mayo”
- How you need the document to be notarised;
- The purpose of the document;
- If the document needs to be apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs;
- When you need the document by.
If you have a requirement for notarial services, please contact us and we will be pleased to discuss your requirements further.
